Terms
Terms of Use
These Terms of Use govern access to the BriefSecure Current Version for confidential video recording, recipient verification, and creator watch activity.
Effective date: March 10, 2026
Using BriefSecure
BriefSecure is provided for recording and sharing confidential video briefings with approved recipients. By using the product, you agree to use it lawfully and only for content you have the right to record, upload, and share.
You are responsible for the accuracy of recipient lists, the content you share, and the actions taken through your use of the service.
Acceptable use
You may not use BriefSecure to violate law, infringe intellectual property or privacy rights, send malicious content, bypass access controls, or interfere with the operation or security of the service.
- Do not upload or share content you do not have permission to use.
- Do not use the service to distribute malware, phishing content, or harmful code.
- Do not attempt to access videos or accounts that were not intended for you.
- Do not reverse engineer or abuse the product in a way that harms the service or other users.
Ownership and permissions
You retain responsibility for your content. These terms do not transfer ownership of your videos to BriefSecure.
You grant BriefSecure the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, protect, and display your content solely to operate the product and its security and analytics features.
Access controls and recipient verification
BriefSecure's Current Version includes approved recipient access, OTP verification, expiry controls, and verified session tracking. These features are designed to reduce the risk of casual forwarding and uncontrolled public access.
However, no software system can guarantee that content will never be copied, recorded, or misused. You should evaluate whether BriefSecure's current controls are appropriate for your specific use case.
Availability and changes
Because this is a Current Version, features may change, improve, or be removed as the product evolves. We may modify or discontinue parts of the service at any time.
We do not promise uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that every future feature mentioned in planning materials exists in the current product.
Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate access if we reasonably believe the service is being misused, the terms are being violated, security is at risk, or continued operation would create legal or operational harm.
Disclaimers and limits
BriefSecure is provided on an as-is and as-available basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. We disclaim warranties that are not expressly stated in these terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BriefSecure will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenues, goodwill, data, or business opportunities arising from your use of the service.
Privacy
Your use of the service is also subject to the BriefSecure Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled in the current Current Version.
