Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how BriefSecure handles information in the Current Version for confidential video recording, sharing, recipient verification, and watch activity.

Effective date: March 10, 2026

Information we collect

BriefSecure is a confidential video sharing product. In the Current Version, we collect the information needed to let creators record, share, verify, and review video access activity.

That can include video metadata, approved recipient email addresses, one-time passcode delivery details, viewer verification data, and basic watch activity such as verified sessions, timestamps, percent watched, and replay counts.

How we use information

We use this information to provide the product: create secure viewer links, restrict access to approved recipients, deliver one-time passcodes, show verified playback, and present creator dashboard activity.

We may also use service information to maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot product issues, and improve the Current Version over time.

Infrastructure and service providers

The Current Version may rely on third-party infrastructure providers to store videos, store application data, send OTP emails, and host the app. Based on the current product architecture, those providers can include Supabase, Cloudflare R2, Brevo, and the hosting provider used to serve the application.

These providers process data on our behalf so the product can function, but their own terms and privacy practices may also apply to the services they operate.

Sharing and disclosure

We do not position BriefSecure as a public sharing platform. Information is used to deliver confidential video access to the recipients selected by the creator.

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, enforce our terms, investigate abuse, or protect the rights, safety, and security of BriefSecure, our users, or others.

Data retention

We retain data for as long as reasonably necessary to operate the service, maintain logs and security records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

Because this is a Current Version, retention periods may change as the product matures. Expired video access in the product does not necessarily mean related operational records are immediately deleted.

Your choices

Creators should only upload and share content they have the right to use and share. They should also only add recipient email addresses they are authorized to contact for the relevant briefing.

If you have a privacy request about information associated with BriefSecure, contact the team through the support channel made available with the product launch.

Important Current Version limitations

We aim to handle confidential business video more carefully than public link sharing, but this privacy page does not make broad compliance, certification, or infosec claims that are not yet implemented in the Current Version.
